Pet Try-On ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify app that enables virtual try-on experiences for pet products. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.
Merchant data: When you install Pet Try-On, we receive your Shopify store URL and access token to enable the app to function. We use this to register our widget script and create metafield definitions on your store.
Customer pet photos: When your customers use the try-on feature, they upload photos of their pets. These images are sent to our image generation service to produce the try-on result and are not stored permanently.
Product data: We access your product images and metafields solely to power the try-on widget on your product pages.
We use collected information exclusively to provide the Pet Try-On service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Merchant access tokens are stored in memory and cleared when our service restarts. Generated try-on images are stored temporarily and deleted automatically. We do not maintain long-term databases of merchant or customer personal data.
Pet photos uploaded by your customers are processed solely to generate the try-on image. Photos are transmitted securely and are not stored, indexed, or used for any purpose other than generating the try-on result for that session.
We use Black Forest Labs (FLUX) for AI image generation. Pet photos are sent to their API for processing. Please review their privacy policy at bfl.ai.
We use HTTPS for all data transmission and follow Shopify's security guidelines for app development.
Merchants may uninstall Pet Try-On at any time from their Shopify admin, which revokes our access to their store data. For data deletion requests, contact us at the email below.
